Obstacles in Jetpack Joyride

Jetpack Joyride

Move the character over dangerous obstacles

  • Laser beams: appear from the ceiling or floor of the lab. They can move up and down or switch on and off continuously, forcing players to time their actions precisely to avoid collisions.
  • Zappers: are rotating or stationary electric rods suspended in mid-air. Touching them will cause the character to explode instantly, very dangerous when flying at medium altitudes.
  • Missiles: will lock onto the target and chase the player. They accelerate over time, creating constant pressure that forces you to move nimbly to dodge.
  • Rocket drones: Some drones fly horizontally and fire projectiles or create moving obstacles. They often appear in groups, making them difficult to dodge.
  • Electric barriers: Electric walls appear unexpectedly from above or below, requiring quick reflexes to avoid getting caught in mid-air.
  • Spinning saws: Large saw blades move in a fixed trajectory, often combined with lasers or zappers, narrowing the space for dodging.

Controls

  • Space Key: Hold to fly upwards
  • Release Space Key: Character falls downwards
